A New York State Facial Hair Society, dating back to 1953. Headquartered and founded in Syracuse, NY by Hank Wolek.

Announcements:

  • Membership is now open!

  • To be a member, you must also join the Syracuse Polish Home. Their fee is $30.00

  • New Member Dues are $20 and good until February of 2024.

  • Next Officer Meeting is January 4th.

  • The 71st Mustache Growing Contest is open... sign up here! Mustache Growing Contest Ends March 30th.

  • The 71st Anniv. Beard Contest will be April 6th, 2024 and you can sign up now!

JOIN THE CLUB

Membership is now open! To Join the club there are three methods:

  1. Go to the Club Headquarters and sign up in person at the members only bar. Ring the bell and tell the doorman you are their to join the Mustache & Beard club.

  2. Sign up online for $20 and pay the $30 fee at the Club Headquarters. Click Here to join,

  3. Download these two forms at mail two checks to the Club Headquarters address to: Facial Hair Club Membership Officer.

Fundraising Chair

Started by Hank Wolek in the 1950’s, Woleks Famous Moustache club is a genuine real American moustache organization dating back to the old days of Hank Wolek’s smokey saloon and sports bar, Hank’s Café.

 

Rooted in history of moonshine smuggling, Hank’s Café emerged from prohibition as a popular place in 50’s downtown Syracuse, New York.

 

Even the press reported on Hank’s Moustache club and what his members were doing, which was usually winning masculine size sports trophies in Upstate, NY tournaments for foot ball, soft ball, base ball, bowling, and other atheletics.
