Feb. 18, 2026 - Clermont, FL

Competition Divisions & Classes

Divisions:

Wolek's Famous Beard Championship sanctions 5 competition divisions.

  1. Natural Division: no oils or styling aides allowed! Trimming not allowed!

  2. Groomed Division: Barbershop rimming and oils allowed. No curling irons allowed.

  3. Styled: Styling aides and curling irons allowed to create awesome shapes & designs.

  4. Facial Hair Wigs: Fake hair pieces that are natural and realistic.

  5. Creative Beards: Real or Fake Beards decorated or created with outrageous materials, such as macaroni, yarn, or anything goes.

Classes: 

Wolek's Famous Beard Championship officially recognizes 8 beard classes in each of the 5 divisions.

  1. Beards under 1 inch

  2. Beards under 4 inches

  3. Beards between 4-8 inches long

  4. Beards between 8-12 inches long

  5. Beards between 12 inches-18 inches

  6. Beards between 18-20 inches

  7. Beards between 20-24 inches

  8. Beards over 24 inches

Sub Categories: 

Wolek's Famous Beard Championship officially recognizes 4 categories.

Style Categories:

  1. Mustaches: Walrus, Handle Bar, Fu Manchu, Chevron/English, Imperial

  2. Beards: Verdi, Garibaldi, Balbo, Whaler, Hulihee

  3. Gotes: Goatee, Van Dyke, Napolean, Musketeer

  4. Facial Hair: Pork Chops, Mutton Chops, Side Burn

  5. Mouches: Soul Patch, Anchor, Fu Manchu
