Our Story

Wolek's Famous Beard Championships have existed since 1953 when Hank Wolek opened the Hank's Mustache Club in Syracuse, NY. In 2021 Hank's grandson, Ron Wolek restarted the championships in Key West, FL with the first contest. Since then we have hosted 6 beard contests and plan to host 6 a year.
